Explore the remote and wild gems of Sabah...
Borneo Ethical Adventures' newest tour takes you into the wilds of Sabah's Kinabatangan River and the less travelled area of Deramakot Forest Reserve.
We've enlisted Sabah's alternative travel experts to guide us into this less visited area as we search for wild orangutan, Pygmy elephant, Rhinoceros hornbill and a host of Borneo's endangered wildlife. Travel with the only operator offering open-top 4WD safari vehicles, just perfect for spotting rare and endemic wildlife in Deramakot Forest and cruise the upper Kinabatangan River with expert local guides. That's if we can drag you away for your luxurious lodgings at Kinabatangan's Wetlands Resort where this adventure ends.
Add-Ons: Connecting flights to and from Sandakan can be arranged on request.
Extend your stay in and around Sandakan. Pre and post tours to Danum Valley, Sepilot, Sandakan WW2 War Memorial, Turtle Island, Sipidan, Mt Kinabalu and more.
